If you want to include electricity, water, gas, or other utilities in your product costs, you'll need to add them as resources in Controlata.
Adding a Resource
-
In the “Resources” section, click “Add” to create a new utility resource.
-
Leave the “Depreciate this resource” toggle turned off.
-
Enter the resource cost, such as the price of electricity per kWh, or water or gas per cubic meter.
-
Specify a category – we recommend creating a separate category for utilities.
Adding the Resource to a Product
After you've added utilities to the “Resources” section, add them to your product:
-
Go to the product you want to edit.
-
Open the “Resources” tab.
-
Add the appropriate utility resource.
-
Save the changes to the product.
Now when you manufacture this product, Controlata will include utility costs in the product cost calculations.
